Migration to the New TV Platform

Dear Clients,
We would like to inform you about the upcoming transition of your favorite TV service to a new platform, which will provide a more comfortable viewing experience.

We understand that switching to a new platform may raise questions. Any change represents a challenge, and the new interface may take a bit of patience to get used to. However, in order to continuously improve and bring new features to our TV platform, migration is necessary. The platform will only improve with each update. Soon, you’ll have access to features like personalized content recommendations based on your preferences, top-rated movies and series according to CSFD, a new video library, the ability to purchase packages at discounted prices directly through the app or set-top box, and much more.

The new Flexi TV platform from VNET offers:

• Endless Entertainment: Watch movies, series, documentaries, sports, and live broadcasts anytime, anywhere.
• Simplicity and Intuitiveness: Flexi TV is easy to use, resembling the layout and logic of established streaming services you’re already familiar with.
• Essential Features: Program recording, rewind, child lock, Flexi TV app for Smart TVs (Samsung, LG, Android TV), web-based Flexi TV, and new mobile apps for Android and iOS.

Your login credentials remain unchanged and can be used for the Smart TV Flexi TV app, found in the app store on your TV. Your recordings will also be transferred. The changes will start automatically on 29.10.2024, and no further steps are required from your side.

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What happened to my channel list?

Custom channel lists cannot be migrated. The new feature allows you to create your own list by adjusting the channel order in Settings -> Channel List.

2. How can I quickly switch between recently watched channels?

This feature is now controlled by the blue button on the remote control.

3. What happened to teletext?

The new platform operates in OTT mode, and teletext is no longer available. To maintain features like subtitles and multiple audio tracks, we had to discontinue teletext.

On the home screen or in a special section, the most-watched and popular shows are displayed:

• The selection is based on viewing statistics, recommendations, or reviews

Easy access to popular shows enhances user convenience, as you don't have to browse the entire library to find what's currently trending. The Catch-Up TV feature highlights the most-watched shows and combines the advantages of content availability with curated selections of popular programs. This ensures that you always have access to attractive and relevant content without the need for complicated searches.

New TV archive

The new archive is designed so that all available TV shows are neatly organized in one place. Shows are arranged by the date and time they were added, which provides:

• Quick access from the main menu
• Neatly organized listing of all available shows
• Convenient search

With just a few clicks, you can enjoy all episodes one after another. The new Flexi TV can be used on various devices, such as Samsung TV, LG, various Android TV devices or TV boxes, as well as the original set-top boxes. Mobile apps for smartphones and tablets are also available, of course.

Smart search

Search offers accurate and relevant results, making it easy to access the content you're looking for:

Smart search uses advanced algorithms and technology to provide the best results based on your preferences and previous viewing. Simply enter a keyword or phrase, and the system will immediately search through the wide library of available content, from TV shows and movies to documentaries and live broadcasts.

Programming remote control buttons

The new Flexi TV comes with many innovative features that enhance the TV-watching experience, one of which is the ability to program the remote control's functional buttons.

• It allows you to customize your TV control to suit your preferences

With programmed buttons, the number of steps needed to perform a specific action is reduced. Instead of navigating through multiple menu items, you can perform a desired action, such as launching the Archive, enabling the child lock, or activating another special function, with a single button press. The range of this feature depends on the type of remote control.

Multiscreen

Flexi TV, with its features, offers an enhanced user experience. Watch shows in better quality, with a wide selection of TV content, and enjoy your favorite programs wherever you are.

• One app, one content, one environment, original login credentials for various platforms.

You can watch TV content on multiple devices. The app includes parental control options, ensuring that your children watch age-appropriate content. To conveniently activate the app on a smart TV or mobile device, simply scan the QR code. The login details are the same as those for the customer zone.

Extra TV packages

TV packages can be ordered directly through the on-screen menu. TV packages are displayed and arranged into thematic or otherwise related categories. Once you enter a specific package, you'll see a list of TV stations included. Activation occurs immediately after entering the PIN and confirming the purchase.

• Purchased packages are activated instantly!

The charge for the purchased service will be included in the next invoice. You'll have access to the package until you decide to cancel it. You can choose any number and combination of TV packages. The minimum subscription period is 1 month. After purchasing, the package can only be canceled after one month. The date when you can do so is indicated in the package details.

Timeshift

Timeshift allows you to pause, rewind, and replay live broadcasts, providing maximum control over your TV viewing experience. With this feature, you'll never miss an important moment or favorite scene.

• You can watch TV programs from the start, up to 14 days back on more than 180 TV stations.

If you press the "OK" button while watching a program from the start, a special info bar will appear. This bar not only shows the program title, its duration, and a timeline, but also allows you to fast-forward or rewind, or even pause the program.

EPG (Electronic program guide)

Fully replaces the traditional printed TV program.

• Program information quickly and easily!

With this function, you can switch to the currently broadcasted program, start the selected show from the beginning, set up recording, access the TV broadcast archive, and obtain detailed information about the show that interests you.

Recording programs

We use recording in the nPVR network (network personal video recorder)

• Available on more than 100 of the most-watched TV stations.
• You don't need an STB with HDD for this type of recording.
• The STB doesn't need to be turned on or connected to the network.
• You can even record shows that have already ended.

Typically, your recordings remain in the system for 90 days and are automatically deleted afterward.

Movie library

The Movie Library is a free part of the Flexi TV digital television service. Movies from the video library can be watched immediately without any fees on the device of your choice.

Movies available in the basic Movie Library service are marked as "Purchased Service." The basic version includes up to 50 titles that are regularly updated. To get the Filmotéka XXL service, simply click the button with the information: "I want the Movie Library with 500+ movies for €3.99/month."

Web Flexi TV

Digital television with all your favorite features can also be found in the customer zone at www.flexi.sk. The service is available to all users of our digital television. The range of TV offerings is the same as on other devices.

• TV at a few clicks away. You don’t need to install any additional software.

Set up access to the Flexi system, which will allow you to access the customer zone and the Flexi TV app.
